VACATE is a grassroots, future non-profit dedicated to dismantling systemic inequalities and building a more just and equitable society for all. We believe the current system leaves many facing economic hardship, healthcare challenges, and an uncertain future threatened by climate change. Through advocacy, education, and collective action, we empower communities, with veterans at the forefront, to overcome these barriers and create a sustainable future for all.

• Legal formation - register as a non-profit and obtain Employer Identification Number


• Apply for federal tax-exempt status 501(c)(3)


• Facilitate secure donations and maintain clear financial reporting


• Engage in a strategic search process to secure qualified personnel and build a representative and committed Board of Directors


• Secure funds to obtain vacate.org domain and transfer website
